Maia is Dally's trouble maker baby sister, he wants to protect her from everything including his best friends. Maia works with her best friends Steve and Soda at the DX. She's completely crushing on Two Bit Mathews. Dally isn't happy about his sister hanging around his friends but knows she's safe with them. Everything starts to go off the rails when Dally comes back from prison and Maia is caught in the middle.

Samantha Kellen just has this bad girl look and attitude to her. She doesn't care about what others think about her and she'll speak her mind. She's protective over those who she care about and will basically do anything in order to protect them. She also hates when people gang up on someone. Sam is from boring ol' North Dakota. Her family could be better but then it could be worst to. Her mom is disappointed she isn't girly, like her twin sister Anna, and her dad hates her attitude problem, but they get along. Her grandfather was originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma but left when he was 19 and came to the town she lives in now. When Sam was nine she found his old journal and read about Tulsa she basically became obsessed with the town. She knew if she ever went there she would automatically become a greaser because she hated how Socs jumped greasers just for fun, and always outnumbered them. One day she comes home to see boxes all over the house and her parents explain to her that they are moving to, none other than, Tulsa. There she save Ponyboy from getting drown'd in the fortune after getting in a fight with her parents. She quickly befriends the gang and develops feelings for one of them. Will then end up together or will thing get in there way?
