For a lot of girls, summer is filled with parties, shopping and enjoying the sunshine. Lauren however finds herself entangled in a mess when a cute guy by the name of James "accidentally" bumps into her at the grocery store. Her words get all muddled up, she finds herself stuttering and her hands and knees just won't stay still. She's a complete mess when he gives her his number and she's a complete mess when three deeply meaningful words get told to her. Lauren continues to talk to him and hang around with him until one day, she finds out a horrible secret that could possibly end her life. Nothing can ever stay the same after that secret and Lauren's life turns into more of a mess than ever before.
