Okay I honestly don't know what I'm doing here. You are not obliged to read this. My first shipping story and I don't know what I'm doing... I'm doomed! This is two separate but linked stories, and although each of them is in chronological order, they aren't in chronological order with each other... Lapis and Peridot's story comes first; then comes Pearl and Amethyst's story. Neither of them is finished. Set in a college with characters that are humanized versions of Steven Universe characters. Told from the points of view of Lapis, Peridot, Pearl, and Amethyst. Shippings: pearlmethyst, lapidot, background rupphire. Fusions are separate, pretty much unrelated people in this story. Apologies if I get a little mixed up about how the college works because I've never actually been to college myself (I'm too young haha) but the interactions are really the important part... right? I'm making this up as I go along... There isn't much of a plan... so hang in there to find out what happens next. Mild cursing (I try to avoid it) I have no rights to Steven Universe. About Lapis Lazuli and Peridot and Jasper and... eh... what happened on that big hand-ship before the Crystal Gems crashed it. (This story ends near the end of the episode Jail Break) I'm keeping this child-friendly. None of what I consider cursing is in this book. And it's just friendship. And forgiveness. It might be a bit of a sad story, maybe... but anyway, it's not romantic love-stuff. And there might be a little violence because – y'know – Jasper's in the book. But not too bad. I try to keep the characters, well, in character, but I probably didn't succeed. Includes some of my own theories about Yellow Diamond and Homeworld; not everything in this story is canon. Peridot is horribly depressed and stressed out after the loss of her ship, her escort, her informant, and now her foot. With nowhere to go, Peridot is about to give up. Broken, Peridot gives herself to the Crystal Gems, waiting for her annihilation. Instead, Steven gives her an out. All she has to do to prove herself is help rescue an old, underwater friend of Steven's. I also take my favorite pairs and turn them into love relationships.
