After struggling to find and keep jobs, Chloe gets the idea to go on a road trip to Dellwood, Ohio to spend the holidays with her girlfriend, Max Caulfield. They manage to run into some familiar faces during their trip. And some new faces as well. Some good. Others not so bad. And the bad ones. During their stay, a horrible night takes place. Max chose to sacrifice Chloe that day back in October. Plot (with spoilers of the first chapter, so if you're interested I recommend to read the first chapter) : She knows that's been the biggest mistake she's ever made. After having been in a psychiatric hospital she has to move on, but she can't. So she writes to her best friend and soul mate every word she didn't have time to tell her. She also joined a private agency which makes resources about time travel and Chaos Theory with her friend Warren. A very very very very very sad story that may have an happy ending but I still don't know. It has been over a year since Arcadia Bay was destroyed Chloe and her parents and all survivors from Blackwell were moved by the state one town over. Max and Chloe find trouble with the people around them, old enemies and friends return. Most people are ok with Max and Chloe being a couple but they find someone they know quite closely doesn't agree. There love grows stronger over the years and is made stronger when Chloe want to make that love last forever. TRIGGER WARNING!!! I do deviate from game story and add in themes of self-harm. Only in like the first chapter though so don't worry the rest is mainly fluff but fair warning there will be a smut paragraph eventually if I keep this going long enough.

In this Life is Strange fanfic, we get to experience a world where Max didn't leave Arcadia Bay. She and Chloe are closer than ever. Both the girls think it is more than friendship, but they're afraid of their feelings. Rachel Amber makes it even harder. Her sudden interest in Chloe makes Max uncomfortable.
