Words that makes you want to take flight...

Brevity is one of the most compelling and beautiful aspects of poetry. I am always fascinated by the ability of a poet to distill thoughts, ideas and emotions into words through concrete imagery and word-play. In this collection, you will find short poems ranging from haikus, senryus, cinquains, shape-poetry to free verse. Everything is short, concise and to the point. Nature is my biggest muse and most of my poems reflect that; although I deviate to other aspects of human behaviour like love, hate, jealousy, anger, money, etc. from time to time. Even though this collection is complete, I update and edit it by twerking my words and adding images as I feel limited by the font and structure choice offered by Wattpad; especially when it comes to shape-poetry. Elusive, ethereal, fragile and hard to catch: Fleeting Thoughts, the butterflies of the mind. This book is but a bag for thoughts, rants, and shorts, which I write for whatever reason. I know that there's no huge audience for stuff like that, but some things just need writing... Some of these stories are competition entries. Contents: 1. Single Soldier Armor: A SciFi short story. (A finalist in @ScienceFiction's #warriorpunk competition in November 2016.) 2. Bookclubbing: Some totally subjective and personal thoughts on how to get the best out of a book club. 3. Jane and Jerome: That's literally a dark one. It won first place in @mystery 's writing prompt 5, "It's All About Descriptions". 4. Call Center: My submission to the competition "Love Conversation Contest" over at the @Romance profile. It's a love story consisting completely of dialogue. 5. The Unburdening of Le Pont Des Arts: Just something that was begging to be written. 6. Where Wearwolves Walk With Vile Veerwolves: Now, that one is difficult to summarize. But it is basically my shoutout to use the #grownupreads tag 7. Sex on the Beach: My contribution to the #bodyonthebeach (Washed Away) competition 8. Furia & Ferdinand: My contribution to the Forbidden Love prompt. 9. You're the Last One: My submission to the "Kiss Me at the End of the World" contest.
