"What are you doing?" അവൻ ചോദ്യഭാവത്തിൽ എന്നെ നോക്കി. "നീ ഇന്നലെ എന്റെ കാൽ മുറിഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ എന്തു ചെയ്തോ അത് തന്നെ..." ഇതും പറഞ്ഞു ഞാൻ ഞാൻ അവന്റെ കൈ തട്ടി മാറ്റി. എന്തു പറ്റി എന്നറിയില്ല. പിന്നീട് അവൻ ഒന്നും പറയാതെ നല്ല കുട്ടിയായി ഇരുന്നു തന്നത് കണ്ടപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ അത്ഭുതത്തോടെ അവനെ നോക്കി. "ഓക്കെ done..." ഞാൻ അവന്റെ നെറ്റിയിലും കയ്യിലും വൃത്തിയിൽ ബാൻഡേജ് ഒട്ടിച്ച ശേഷം തിരിഞ്ഞു ഡോറിനടുത്തെക്കു നടക്കാൻ തുനിഞ്ഞതും കൃഷ് പെട്ടന്ന് എഴുന്നേറ്റ് എന്റെ കയ്യിൽ പിടിച്ചു എന്നെ തടഞ്ഞു. ഞാൻ എന്റെ കയ്യിലും അവന്റെ മുഖത്തേക്കും മാറി മാറി നോക്കി.
