Naruto has a secret. A very big secret.

Years ago, a nine-tailed fox demon attacked the land, killing hundreds of Ninjas defending their villages. By sealing the fox demon and giving his life, the fourth Hokage was able to save the Hidden Leaf Village in the Land of Fire. The demon was sealed in one of two new-born twins, a boy and girl. The boy, who had the demon, was born first sealing his fate. The younger sister was taken moments after her birth by S-ranked criminals, as ransom, mistaking her for her brother. When they learned they had the wrong twin, they kept her to train as a servant. They named her Haruka. For 9 long years, they cruelly trained her, making her strong to do whatever they wished, never expecting her to learn of her origins, her brother, or to ever leave. Yet, one day she did. I know this plot is probably the most cliché one, but I know that. I wanted to try and reinvent the cliché though. It will probably be different then you expect. The day the nine tailed attacked the leaf village under the control of madara Uchiha. The fourth Hokage Minato's wife Kushina gave birth to twins. The older of the twins, a boy named Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze. The younger of the twins, a girl named Mito Uzumaki Namikaze. The fourth battled the nine tails and later sealed it in Naruto the eldest of his children. 4 years later Mito is loved by every one in the village and is adored by her parents, however Naruto has been beaten and almost killed by the villagers many times. His parents ignore him and forgot about him. The only one how talks to him is Kurama the nine tailed fox the is sealed within him. One day Naruto decides thy he has had enough an decides to run away. Kurama then offers to make him apart of his family that he hasn't seen in 4 years because he has been sealed in naruto. Naruto accepts the offer and leaves the village and lives with a family of demon foxes. This is his story.

Naruto Uzumaki, son of the Fourth Hokage, Minato Namikaze, and the Leaf's Red Hot Habanero, Kushina Uzumaki, and vessel of the Nine Tails, is ignored by his parents, made fun of by his triplet sisters, and is beaten by the villagers. He withstands it for seven years, then decides he can't take it anymore. Two of the only people who he cares about comes with him, while he promises to his little brother, Menma, that he'll come back for him someday. His cousin, Heiwa Uzumaki, is ten years older than him, and is the only one who protects him. After her father Daku Uchiha was killed by an unknown cause when she was one, and her mother, Kushina's sister, Kibo Uzumaki, was slaughtered in the Kyuubi attack when she was ten, Heiwa moves in with her aunt, uncle, and cousins. She too is ignored, but not to the same level as Naruto. Menma Uzumaki is Naruto's younger brother, and the only one in their family who cares for him other than Heiwa. He was born the same day, but two years later. He loves his brother, and helps Heiwa treat him after he comes home from beatings.
