This is my first book about little space I've been I the community a little over a year now and I'm loving every little bit about it. I'm more calm and I can cope more in the adult world with a sense of calmness that I can always be accepted in this community as soon as I get home. I like Disney movies, heavy metal and chocolate.

'They wore uniform grey, their expression hard and distant, their muscles taut with expectation, as if at any moment they were ready to lead an assault, to carry out orders, to kill, to die. And yet they were. Kingston had trained these children to kill at a word, to obey their masters without question. They were machines, the ultimate weapons in modern warfare. Children, as young as seven and as old as eighteen, stood impeccable and fearless, but it was what was hidden in their minds that was to be feared most of all.' Nineteen-year-old Charlotte Owens has entered her final year at Kingston Academy and, together with her best friends, she plans on making it through the year in one piece, away from the scrutinising eye of the headmaster and the founder's son. However, when she discovers that she has been thrust into the role of Head Girl, working alongside a boy she can hardly stand, not only are her plans for anonymity destroyed, but her plans for making it through the year at all seem to be in danger of becoming a wistful dream. Charlotte finds herself faced with the monstrous task of learning to play a game for survival in a world that seems determined to destroy her. Not only fighting for her life, Charlotte must also fight to gain control over the genetic alterations that plague her mind, in an effort to become the soldier she must be. A dark and tense tale of the battle between good and evil, Altered brings to life a strange and deadly world full of power and intrigue, as well as casting light on many secrets that so many hoped would remain undiscovered. Available for free from Amazon, iBooks, Kobo, and Nook. Or just enjoy it here on Wattpad! "I've decided what your next step should be," Amy says after the first movie is over. We've eaten half the pizza, and each plowed through half of our respective pints. I groan, both from feeling overfull and with dread from hearing her decision for my life. "I'm stuffed," I say, putting the lid back on my ice cream and getting up to put it in the freezer. "Do you want another Mike's?" "Sure. Aren't you going to ask what I've decided?" "No. I don't want to know." "Yes, you do. It's brilliant, I promise." "What happened to sympathetic Amy that I talked to on the phone earlier? Can I have her back?" She grins. "Nope. It's proactive Amy's turn. Ask me what you should do next." I take a deep breath and brace myself. "Fine. What have you decided I should do next with my life?" "You need a rebound." "What?" "A rebound. You know, to bounce back." Jenna Anderson is still stuck in her grief a year after her fiance died in a tragic accident. All she does is go to work and spend time at home, her former spark gone. Her best friend decides she needs a rebound guy to have some fun and start to live again. Brian MacMallum is the hot owner of the wine bar where Amy takes Jenna. He has a mischievous grin that he wields like a weapon to convince Jenna to give him a chance. Will his love be enough to pull Jenna out of her grief so she can learn to live and love again? *Please note that this story does contain sexual content* Check out my Pinterest inspiration board: https://www.pinterest.com/jericamacmillan/rebound-therapy/
