Michelle Branch, an up-and-coming young musician, gets the opportunity to be the opening act on tour with popular pop-rock band Hanson. She is especially drawn to their lead singer, Taylor. Will these two be able to make it work or will forces beyond their control tear them apart?

Fifteen years later, Michelle, now divorced and living in Nashville, finds herself unexpectedly working with Taylor at a music festival. The two, agreeing that the past is the past, reconnect as friends, but old feelings resurface and once again things get complicated.
