Rose and Dimitri had accepted the fact that they would never have biological children. So when Rose comes home with some pretty shocking news, they're left to deal with the aftermath. Will it tear them apart or will it make their relationship stronger than ever?

What if Rose was able to save Dimitri before he was turned into a Strigoi? Well, I've thought about that. There are obviously two endings that would go with this twist. I chose the one that doesn't end with rainbows and hearts. It's the day after the attack and Dimitri has bad news for Rose. He's leaving her for Tasha Ozera. Rose can't help but be depressed by this. Everyone's noticed that she's changed, but only a few know the real reason. But, when Lissa has an idea, there's another problem. One including Dimitri. But, he left. Rose doesn't think he's worth her time. So, who will she lean on?

Dimitri isn't turned. 15 years later. Who turns up? What fights ensue? Will love be the cure to wounds over a decade old? Can one child change her parents lives forever, and with it the Moroi world's understanding of genealogy? And what of the Strigoi? Will they show, and will they be out for blood, blood they haven't known about until now? And what of Tasha?
