Five years following the fall of Wall Maria and Shiganshina, the siege on Trost forces Lara to intervene and join with the Scouts once more, and face her old commander, Erwin Smith. Coupled with Eren Jaeger's sudden, shocking revelation, Lara's own unique abilities are bought back into the spotlight against her best wishes. In search of answers concerning Eren, the Colossal Titan, Armoured Titan, and herself, Lara's choice to stay amongst the Survey corp soon bears the fruit of an unlikely relationship between her and recent graduate, Reiner Braun.
