I stared into his emerald green eyes and held my breath. For a villain, he looked incredibly handsome. He was much younger than I thought he would be, all that talk about him being evil kind of gave me a horrible image of him. You know, the one where he looks about 150 years old, yellow teeth, bad breath, huge bald spot, overgrown fingernails and the look of pure evilness in his eyes. Instead, he flashed me a smile, showing off his perfectly straight white teeth. His silver hair was ruffled around his head neatly and his suit was nicely ironed. "We meet at last Katrina," he said with a hint of humor in his voice. "Actually it's Katherine," I replied smugly. I wasn't going to let his good looks fool me. I've heard far too much about this guy. "I suppose you're here to save your boyfriend, am I right?" He slowly walked out from behind his desk and chuckled as he lent against it. "Indeed you are," I answered confidently as I looked around, hoping to find a way out. "And what made you possibly think that he's here?" He asked innocently. I glared at him, I didn't have time for his silly games. I looked at the door to my right, then the one to my left. Either I run and save myself, or I risk everything to save Chris. I didn't really need to think twice about that, I made a run for the left door where Chris would be held, but before I opened it, I heard a voice which made me instantly freeze in my spot. "Mom?" I asked in disbelief as I stared at her. She was standing right next to the desk looking terrified. "Which one?" He asked with an evil grin. "You only get to save one of them, so choose wisely." I felt his words cut right through me. ~~Cover by Solxcitude~~

But something's wrong with the drug and Kate knows it. She's too brave, too unafraid of anything. But is she willing to sacrifice the drug, to turn back to the fearful girl she used to be? Bravery keeps us strong... But Fear keeps us alive.
