You grew up in Japan with your brother, mom and dad. You had a normal life till there's an unexpected turn when you turned 15 and got attacked. You were held captive. Later on, once you escape, you learn that you were transformed into a ghoul. You were taken captive of the CCG, but something happens, someone is on your side.

Faye Hatanaka is a ghoul who's been friends with Kaneki since early childhood. She was adopted by his mother after being found alone in a field as a child. With no previous memories, she's accepted the role Kaneki's mother gave her after she had found out that she was a ghoul; to always protect Kaneki without revealing her ghoul identity to anyone. Also, this is a fan fiction. Since this story often follows the original story line of tokyo ghoul, I put a lot of the actual story and character dialogue in there mixed with my own; however, I do NOT own the original story line, manga, anime, characters, etc. of Tokyo Ghoul and the rights belong to Sui Ishida. I don't own the pictures that I put in the book either. I do alter them all, but I did not originally create them. The only character I own is Faye Hatanaka and the story behind her along with a few other original characters.

something I wrote because I had to many feelings after finishing Tokyo Ghoul √A. I've been meaning to post this awhile ago but things happened so yeah here it is. Its not based on the manga btw.

Go check that out! :) FYI: This was my first full-length fiction ever written down, so it might have 1) more typos 2) short chapters 3) often reused words (for ex.: "therefore").
