"Go fuck yourself!" She screamed, shoving against him. Which was a horrible decision on her part. "Who do you think you're talking to?" He growled, backing her into the wall forcefully. She whimpered against him lowly, wishing she wouldn't of said it to her so called "mate". "A man who thinks he owns me," she snarled at him, baring her teeth at him. He smirked at the challenge, "I own you. Whether you like it or not, you're mine!" He buried his head in the crook of her neck, taking a huge whiff of her intoxicating scent. Which almost sent him over the edge. She whimpered again, trying to push him away. But stopped as soon as he growled loudly at her, a warning to stop. He was an Alpha, and not one to be messed with.

I cursed myself. I was in love with him. My heart hammered inside my chest, as I repeated the words. I was in love with him. I could feel my mind scrambling to defend itself, but it didn't.
