Ryan Cannon, a soon to be structural engineering major out of Tennessee, was headed for a summer class in Cookeville when he collided with another vehicle, sending his car flipping. Paramedics arrived promptly to find him unconscious. Ryan was rushed to the hospital, but on the way, he fell into a coma. Ryan was admitted into the hospital, but doctors didn't know the length of time he would live do to the head trauma, but would do what they could to help him. Earlier that morning, something went terribly wrong across the globe. A test on a newly created disease was accidently ignited in Japan, causing the entire facility to explode, spreading the fumes rapidly across the world. This disease caused the brain to shutdown, killing the person infected.... but not actually "killing" them. This disease caused humans to come back from the dead and gave them a drive for flesh...
