I always thought that meeting my soul mate would be significant; that there would be fireworks or a beautiful sunset or something to let me know that it was happening. Sparks flying, electricity, something to give me a hint. I thought that I would meet them at a 4th of July party or a wedding or some other get together. Or that I would meet them in my favorite record store or in the heart of my favorite city, something romantic like that. But no, the way I met my soul mate was utterly unexpected and to be honest, the whole meeting was just rude. Not my type. In the future, the Department of Soulmates and Timers gives everyone a timer on their right hand counting down to when that specific person will meet their soulmate. This solves all romantical problems, divorces, fights, and breakups. The world is a happier place. Up until Castiel Milton meets his soulmate. This is a story about love, drama, and finding the best in a person you never thought you would. WARNINGS: This piece of work deals heavily with rape, its effects physically, mentally, and emotionally on its victim(s), and the aftermath of it. Although it does not have a literally have a full out rape scene, it has scenes /right/ before and after, so while technically it doesn't, you could say that it does. It also deals with alcoholism and alcohol abuse, along with drug use, marijuana to be exact, and psychological addiction to it.

Castiel was always the outcast of the family, with his piercings and his tattoos and his music choices. It's not like he cared anyway. When Dean, a nerdy, sweet boy joins Cas's high school, what will unfold between these two? Friendship? Relationship? Who knows?

Dean, in high school, always had a girl by his side. And in College, it was exactly the same. He was surprised to even get into a college, honestly. He wasn't the smartest at all, but what he could do was write. None of his peers knew that, though. They'd think he's soft, and Dean, the "bad boy", couldn't let anyone think that. Only teachers, and those who accept him into the dumb college knew of his talent. It all came so easily to him, he perfectly planned every word he spilled onto the paper, and it was a shame no one could see it for themselves. Castiel was always quiet. He never put himself out there. Never voiced his own opinion, never put himself into a crowd, never got in any sort of fight- in fact, most people in his high school cant even tell you what he sounds like. All he was worried about was the future. He was constantly on top of everything. School work, his job, his family, he always tried to keep his family happy. Castiel was just a plain old person. No special talents, not a wit, nothing but a big pile of cash his family was kindly keeping warm for him. But that meant nothing to him. Cas didn't want money, or a scholarship, or to even graduate, he just wanted happiness. When he was 14 Castiel was diagnosed with depression. As the last two boys to be accepted into this college, Dean and Castiel were put together as roommates. Just the two of them, in an apartment-living college dorm. Usually, this size place would have 4-5 guys living inside, so the boys felt lucky to only have each other. It starts off casual, small talk in the morning and night, but it soon got deeper than that. Castiel discovered feelings he's never had before, as did Dean. Their "friendship" was like no other. They were so close, it almost made Castiel happy. Then Castiel does the unforgivable, and Dean ends all they had in the blink of an eye. Which only causes Cas to end what he had in the blink of an eye. And with everything ending, why doesn't Dean end his worries too?

Dean/Cas highschool AU. Castiel is mute and lives with his abusive uncle, abandoned by his family. Dean and Sam have been adopted by Bobby and Ellen after Dean finally snapped and turned his serial killer father into the police. In each other, they find happiness. Destiel, high school AU Dean just moved again, and again, he has to start on another high school. Just like all the other times, he will get used to the kids, and then they will move again. Like always. He never makes any friends, what is the point if they never stay in one place? But this time, it's different. He can't stay away from this guy, Castiel, and it leads him to things he never thought that would ever happen. Word count: 27k

Now that Cas is human, some things are a lot harder to do, but it has is plus sides. Feelings, for one thing, are both pleasant and not pleasant, except when they involve Dean. Nor Dean, Cas or Sam know whether Cas will ever get his grace back, and what is going on with Metatron in heaven. Luckily, they get some help from Charlie and a certain other angel. Together, they try to do what's right, and it leads them to doing things they never thought they'd be doing. Word count: 37k
