They know the place is rumoured to have a monster roaming its halls, but what harm could a short stay do? They'd be leaving as soon the clock struck one. But 'it' won't stand for that, oh no. Their brief visit swiftly turns to chaos when nightfall arrives on its silver horse. The manor's innocent façade is melting away, the children are being hunted down and their guardian finds himself entangled in a dangerous wonderland of illusion and trickery. For whom does the bell toll? Don't look 'it' in the eye. And don't trust yours either, robotic or not. [ If you so desire to open this book, please do so at your own risk, dear reader. I love it so much. You have made a better book in 7 chapters than most people on here can do in 30. ~U2fanatic I didn't like it. I loved it! Oh my gosh, that was just- there are no words to describe it. It felt like I was on an amusement park ride, I swear. I couldn't stop reading it. How dare you make me binge read? :P You are such a brilliant writer. Wow. Just wow. ~Darkelitechief I honestly think it was an amazing story. a great plot twist; I finished reading it a few minutes ago, and I still cant wrap my head around It! amazing job. I rate it 100 out of 10! ~Shaxnas I think I'm eternally scarred by "They call him Lucius". How someone came up with that is a mystery but nonetheless, it was written awesomely and somehow managed to get a lot more detail in seven chapters than any other 30+ chapter book I've read on here. Great job!

Featured Story - Book of the Month --- Love, death, retribution and unpredictable outcomes. She died too young, too soon and too beautiful:- What secrets did she carry with her to the grave? Meet Bill Douglas, an international assassin as he attends an emotional and personally shattering funeral of a long lost friend. Reflection and soul searching transports him and you to a time from his past. Critical events unfold and life changing consequences begin to emerge. Watch and feel yourself live the experiences as the book takes you places you have never been and shows you things you have never seen. Recent comment on the book: - Hi Doug, I've just finished reading all of Consequences Unforeseen and I must say that I really enjoyed it. You write with the kind of 'tough' style that I like in Raymond Chandler and you have brought your hero to life through the flashbacks that provide a kind of panorama of his story from childhood on. A particular strength is the way that the locations are vividly depicted, the glittering waters of Cannes contrasted with the stark countryside of Scotland and so on, this brings Ian Fleming to mind, as does the whole piece in fact... .

Highest ranking in Fantasy 28. Vincent was a traveller. He had visited most of the important cities and towns in the entire Empire. He had encountered men of greatness, men of cowardice and experience had taught him well how to differentiate among them, for the latter usually chose to wear the mask of the former. He had witnessed the alchemists, the mages, the dark magicians, the masters, the mind readers, the knights. He had been fortunate enough to appreciate the play of the gladiators from the pits and the lances in tourneys. Vincent had watched men fly, tame wildest creatures, walk on water. In fact, he was of the opinion, which most would agree was well founded, that he had seen enough for a single lifetime. But what Vincent the blacksmith saw next, created a memory so deep, that others seemed to fade. An unbelievable incident occurred in the little town of Andlenore. But the consequences of that incident, were not limited to the town. The ripples spread like wildfire.
