Lieutenant Lillian "Lily" Walker grew up with Captain Jim Kirk. They've literally been best friends since birth. They attended the same schools and they lived right next door to each other. Whenever Jim decided to do something idiotic Lily was right behind him ready to go. So, naturally, when Christopher Pike convinced Jim to join Starfleet so did Lily. Now with Jim as Captain of the starship U.S.S. Enterprise and Lily as a lieutenant on board, space will never be the same.
