A/N: This is a very old story of mine. Written back when I was in high school. The writing is not the best I've done and there are many errors.. I have since grown then and have bettered my writing.. I have thought to delete the story but because it seems to be a favorite to many-- I've decided to keep it posted just for you all. Raeann knew it wasn't wise. She wasn't being rational. But one day, she decides to pack up what little is important to her and run. Erik had never known kindness. Recently heartbroken over a young girl named Christine, he trudges through life with his head low. Everybody flees from his face, but will he find somebody who excepts him? Erik finds an injured girl in the woods surrounding his secluded home and takes her with him. Raeann knows that Erik has his flaws, but, as her father once told her, everybody has small anomalies. It starts as a friendship, but once Erik hears her voice, he won't let her leave. What happens when an act of kindness turns into a nightmare? (Modern Day)

Once again, I DO NOT OWN Erik, Christine, Gustave, Meg, Mme Giry, or Raoul. Chaos has entered everyone's lives. Ariadne has gone missing, creating havoc among the people of Coney Island. Especially Erik. He looks everywhere, then decides to take a risk and search deeper in the country of America. Will he ever find her? Gustave has mixed feelings. First off, a 12 year old shouldn't go through things like missing friends, seeing death, and diving deep into depression. But can one spark of life save Gustave from the darkness he's in? Meg Giry just witnessed her mother's death. Phillip stays by her side, but she now wonders if he'll leave her when he repeatedly forgets her when he does "family matters." Can the one man that made Meg feel as if she's loved shatter her heart? And, let's not forget, everyone's favorite mad scientist is on the loose. And he's angrier than ever. Madness is everywhere. Who will give in, and who will fight against this Insanity?

Okay so hey guys, I'm alive. And I really do not think I have the real desire to write a sequel to my original work so.... here is what I'm planning to do instead. My original work was finished in 2013 and I started it even earlier. I was sixteen when I finished it up and while I might have been an alright writer, I've grown a lot through my creative writing classes. I didn't even edit what I originally work and that continues to terrify me. What I want to do is go through, edit, and make changes I've thought about since I finished it. At the time, I wanted a sequel. I thought I could pump it out really quick even though I'm relatively sure it took me two years just for the first one. I want to make this wanna be two work piece into just one. I want to give you all a real ending and make it something I am proud of. I'm planning to post it up on Ao3 as I edit, and post it up on Wattpad chapter by chapter (maybe one every two days?) once I'm finished. If you want to see the progress as it goes, I'm at blondiebatgirl on archive of our own. The prolouge is already up. Once I start uploading the new version of this, I will mark the original as such and the new as 'rewritten' or 'edited', whichever I deem more apt. It will tie in the conflicts I wanted from this story and will only leave mysteries I wanted in the first place. There will be a definite ending. If I write another Phantom fic, it will stand seperate from this (because I've had a plot for one for years now). Anyway-- I'm so sorry for those of you waiting. I'm going to hurry to get this edit/writing done and get you all the closure with this story because even I need it at this point.

Christine was proposed to by Raoul soon after finding out her true passion for her Angel of Music. Afraid of her love that could be with Erik she accepts Raoul's proposal and instantly regrets it.

Christine Daae is a young and naïve girl. Living with her aunt and uncle, she is alone. With no mother or father, there is no one to care for or love Christine. But when she starts voice lessons, she meets a mysterious young man named Erik. Erik soon falls head over heels in love for the young girl, but will she reciprocate the feelings or will he have to take drastic actions to keep his songbird all to himself?

This story takes place 10 years after the story of Andrew Lloyd Webber's 'Love Never Dies'. Gustave starts his quest to find out who his mother really was.
