Now available in paperback! "I LOVE IT!" - CarniaHolmes "I'm going to break your nose, because I don't like your face," Carter said. She pointed to Zac. "I'm going to dislocate your other shoulder, just to make them even." She cocked her head and gave the main guy a sickly sweet smile. "I'm going to break your wrist, taking away your baseball career. And finally you, Finch," she said, looking to the last guy. "I'm going to bust your ankle because I don't like the way you walk." She slid her hands into her pockets. "Now, how does that sound to all of you? And please feel free to look amused, skeptical or patronizing at this point. I'll have all the more fun wiping the expressions off your faces." Carter Owens, daughter of a Secret Service agent, is trained to disassemble any weapon, any situation, and anyone. Her biting sarcasm and razor-sharp mind make her impossible to beat in a word fight and when talking doesn't work, she uses her fists. She attends Hamilton Prep, Washington D.C.'s most prestigious high school, where everyone is related to someone in power, except her. When Hamilton Prep receives a flood of new students, Carter's role as social outcast changes when she makes two unexpected friends. Friends who are hiding a secret. As Carter uncovers the truth, she confronts challenges she is unequipped to handle and finds herself in a dangerous situation. For a girl trained to see everything, Carter never saw this coming. 17 year old Scarlet Redmond has a secret, and that secret is the beautiful, smart, goody-goody popular girl Jacqueline Hunter. Living in Deep Wood, a rural farming town in Idaho that hasn't changed much since the 1800s, Scarlet has to keep her relationship with Hunter a secret lest they fall prey to the homophobic bullying of their classmates. One day, on her way to visit her grandmother, Scarlet meets the enigmatic social pariah known as Mara Wolf, a mysterious girl surrounded by infamy and damning rumors. Wolf doesn't seem to want to leave Scarlet alone, and there's something about her infuriating smile that makes it seem as though Wolf knows everyone's secret... even Scarlet's. **** This story was written as an entry for the @lgbtq 'Once Upon A Time' contest.

Harry Potter was the Boy Who Lived. When he was sent to live with his mother's sister, he wasn't living any kind of life. Constant chores, unearned punishments from his whale of an Uncle, and a musty living space under the stairs that kept him hidden from the outside world. Sirius Black was freed from Azkaban prison and cleared of all charges after an interesting hearing in the ministry. Ever since, he had been fighting for parental rights for his Godson, Harry Potter. When Arabella Figg overhears one of Harry's harsh punishments, the adoption process is sped up and Harry is given to Sirius and his best friend and roommate, Remus Lupin. Read on as a little boy discovers that he is loved and as two prankster wizards turned fathers learn to deal with one of the most stressful jobs in the world--parenthood. {Possible SB/RL later on. WARNINGS: OUTRIGHT ABUSE AND NEGLECT. If I think of any other warnings I will let you know at the beginning of the chapters.} All characters belong to the wonderful J. K. Rowling and I am not making any money off of this work whatsoever. Sequel is up!

"Anna Karenina" is the tragedy of married aristocrat and socialite Anna Karenina and her affair with the affluent Count Vronsky. The story starts when she arrives in the midst of a family broken up by her brother's unbridled womanizing—something that prefigures her own later situation, though with less tolerance for her by others.

"How is it that when your chest is against mine, that even though our hearts don't beat the same, and your breath exhales when I inhale. I feel as though we are in sync. You move left when I move right, you begin your sentence as I end mine. Your lips close as mine part." He says as his eyes move from my frozen wide eyes to where he holds my hands above my head. With every breath he takes I feel my body react in sync, the way I can still feel every touch and caress he has drawn out along my body, the invisible mark like my own personal tattoo. "Say you're mine." He breaths down my neck, the heat of him encasing me as he holds me in his own way, I feel the tingle of his kiss under my ear, against the join of my neck and shoulder as he begins to cover my skin in kisses. "Say it." He purrs against my ear and draws back so he can look into my hooded dark eyes. "I'm yours." I whisper. And in that moment I know I have got myself stuck in something I may never be able get out of. I had been completely and utterly owned by Grayson Nolan. ********************************************************************************************* So this story is a little dash of bad boy, a little dash of business man, tattoos and seduction (so there will be a few hot and heavy scenes) and lots of possessive alpha male syndrome going on.... so please give it a try and let me know what you think! There will be sexual scenes so please read with caution!

[Winning book for the Wattys4 December monthly contest. Reviewed by @LDCrichton: "I forgot I was reading a contest entry this one is so good."] Which emotion is the most powerful? The optimists will say that it's love while the pessimists will argue that it's sadness. Sarah William fell into the pessimist category and not without reason. After losing the love of her life, she starts to slowly spiral into depression. So maybe, sadness really is the most powerful thing that human beings can feel. But maybe not. After crossing paths with Joey Harding, she's forced to think otherwise. Maybe the strongest emotion is the last thing that was left in Pandora's box: the little glowing ball of hope. But there's always the danger of that little light flickering unexpectedly and it could go out just as suddenly as it came, leaving everything in complete darkness.

The daughter of two famous Quidditch players, Anora Forney, has grown up travelling the world. And while her parents are known for their skills on the pitch, Anora garners her own attention wherever she goes as many people love to get a glimpse of the child with naturally white hair. However, the world tour comes to an end when Anora receives her acceptance letter from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Surrounded by adults for much of her upbringing, Anora is initially quite nervous about interacting with peers of her own age. But with her feline companion, Iggy, at her side, she embarks on her own journey. Along the way, she meets Charlie Weasley, a boy whose hair is as red as her hair is white. And bright locks are not the only thing the two have in common, as their love for magical creatures and the outdoors, sparks a friendship that cannot and will not be broken. But their friendship is put to the test as their Seventh Year at Hogwarts approaches, and feelings that were not there before, start to surface. Nothing gets an adventure-packed romance started like dropping out of school and running off to the Romanian Dragon Sanctuary. And that is only the beginning. Cover Credit : @cendriia
