Jack notices some wierd things happening. From the children talking about black roses appearing everywhere and kids being called in early from playing in the snow. he didnt put too much thought into it untill he saw a dog dead in a tree and their owner saying that "death guided it to a peaceful place." he finally asks North about it and he reveals the existence of a dangerous spirit, death. when curiosity strikes, he hunts down the spirit and finds the reason for this spirit being dangerous. but he couldnt help but also think of them... or rather her... as someone worth meeting again.
