"Go ahead," I said, backing up against the pink wall of the shop. "Do something other than glare at me." I waited. One, two, three seconds... and nothing. I raised my chin at him. "You're boring me, mute boy." He stepped closer. Leaned toward me as his gaze burned into mine. Then... ❀ ❀ ❀ After three months in juvenile detention, it's time for Romy Pereira to help out with her family's flower shop. And it's not all bad... until they hire Jack Michel to work beside her. He doesn't speak, communicating with glares and scowls instead of words, and seems to be more interested in literal rocks than other human beings. And with an ex-convict mother, her friends drifting away, and the flower shop falling apart, the last thing Romy wants to deal with is Jack's attitude. She'll forever praise the day he screws up big time and gets himself fired, but until that day comes, it's mostly one cold-hearted girl, her silent (but still infuriating) coworker, and a whole lot flowers. I tugged the sleeves of my sweater to cover both of my hands, subconsciously as I walked into my dorm room. There was a boy, he looked a little older than me, sitting on the ledge, the same boy I saw earlier, reading his book. One of the windows at the back of the room was opened, letting the air in. It must be his girlfriend's room then. He saw me and walked back up the roof and climbed into the room. He held out his hand, "Hello, I'm Max." * * * * * This story goes over the first year of Logan and Max knowing each other. With some extra stuff at the end. Everything Bobbi Grace Thompson does is for her mother, who had sadly passed away in a car accident when Bobbi was just four. Since then it has always been herself, her father Lucas and her late mother's flower shop, Gracious Gardens. Everything is going well for her until Roberto Moretti comes into her life. He's a typical bad boy, but there's always a reason why bad boys become bad boys, right? Bobbi stops trying to be his friend after he destroys her mother's shop; her father forgives him, with the stipulation that he repairs the damage he caused, but Bobbi is furious that the beautiful shop she was supposed to have inherited has been ruined - so she works with him. Roberto perceives her to be 'perfection' and is jealous of her 'perfect' life, but when he sees it's just a facade... will it be for good or bad? On a journey full of drama, secrets and tears, and once they get to know each other, Bobbi Grace and Roberto learn much more than the struggles of how to build a flower shop. © Copyright 2018 by KeepItBasic ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. [VERSION WITH EXTRA CHAPTERS OUT ON AMAZON!!!] [This Wattpad Version is the Unedited first draft.] Having a crush on someone isn't easy, especially when they're popular and you're not. But having a crush on the school's bad boy who's ranked highest on the food chain while you're the nerd in the bottom of the food chain is a hundred times harder. Meet 'Rosaline Arlene Winnefred' who's also known as the school's 'nerd'. She's that girl who has no more than two friends, gets picked on by pretty much everyone, and locks herself up in her bedroom on a Saturday night reading cheesy romance novels. Not to mention she believes in fairytales and has a hopeless crush on the school's bad boy. You get the picture? 'Axel Storm Spencer' is the complete opposite of her. He's got that bad boy image that girls love so much. He's tough, violent and feared by pretty much everyone. In a turn of events, the two get thrown into different messes together. Everything from wild parties, Halloween dances, to discipline referrals and revenge. Her crush might not be so hopeless after all... "After all, it was just a crush on Mr. Bad Boy."
