Barbara Kean and her half sister Starla get admitted into Arkham Asylum . There they meet other inmates that are crazy. Barbara and Starla have totally different crimes. Barbara killed her parents and Starla killed her boyfriend and his family. When Jerome starts to hit on Starla she gets annoyed. She doesn't know what he sees in her and she knows she's too good for him. When they get busted out of Arkham, they are still together. They are in The Maniax together. Jerome is trying his hardest to charm her but it isn't working. Starla is afraid to love because of her last boyfriend. When Jerome and her get more closer she starts to fall for him but doesn't want to. Barbara drifts away from her and doesn't talk to her as much. All Starla had is Jerome. Will she learn to love again?

A man with a scrambled brain, became Gotham City's worst nightmare. He was feared by all; he was ruthless, cold and heartless. His name was, The Joker. This left him in Arkham Asylum, but did not leave him disheartened. From time to time, his menacing laughter shook the halls. Though he was held back in chains and a straitjacket, the guards were weary of his every move. Nobody dared to disrespect the man, even though it seemed as if the Joker's future consisted of being entrapped in his cell within the asylum. Something caught his eye in the asylum. She resided in the same hell hole that he was in. And walked around in a white lab coat with heels. She always wore a messy bun, and was well known to be pretty clumsy. She was referred to as Doctor L. by her patients. For his entertainment, the Joker kidnapped Doctor L. when his henchmen came to get him outta there. Little did he know, Luna would either be the cause of his ruin, or become his strength. You better play your cards right, Joker. Hey guys! This book is also based around the new Joker from the upcoming movie "Suicide Squad", until it comes out, all plot will be based on the trailers (that I've watched way too many times), old comics, tv shows, movies, video games (pretty much any info I know concerning the joker or suicide squad), and my own imagination. The name of this book is also based on the late heath ledgers line as the joker, if you don't know it, he says "Madness, as you know, is a lot like gravity, all it takes is a little push." and yes i know the book is called "pushed to insanity" and not "pushed to madnes" but i just like the word 'insanity' better *shrugs* anyways, I hope you like the book, and I'll write an A/N when I see the movie and the book starts forming into the plot of the film.
