I picked up the old picture and chuckled a little to myself. Beth. Shiny, happy eyes. Vibrant. Suddenly, I started ripping the photograph into pieces, tears welling in my eyes. I grabbed my hair tightly and pulled, breathing heavily. I had to let go. Beth wasn't coming back. I couldn't get away from Iris. But who was Iris? I squeezed my eyes shut. I knew that Iris wasn't me, but rather who I'd been forced to become. Iris was inevitable. Then again, I couldn't help but wonder, where is Beth?
