As we fall into the pit of darkness, trust me, hold me tight, Hold on to the wisp of hope, let me give you light. ------------------------------------- Fear. Fear defined Abeer Irfan's life. Every night, it engulfed her and she drowned into the endless horrors of her past. Every night, she lost a part of her to the evil. Every night, it got worse and worse to the point of no return. You see, she wasn't alive; she was just breathing. On one special night, she opened a door, a door hidden in the maze of her horrors. It was on that special night, that she met him. He wasn't a knight in shining armor. He wasn't a superhero. He was a light. He was the guy with impossible green eyes. *************************************** "You didn't see anything before. This is what you have seen. This!" My heart is beating frantically hard against my ribs like a bird trying to break out of its cage. Allah... "That is how easy you are to crumble. I'll set you straight, angel. I am done with people like you. I am done with being played with. It's about time you learn a lesson. I am about to make your life hell." The words I am sorry are lodged in my throat, but I don't want to beg him. I am done begging people for mercy. "That's more like it." "You cannot make me feel any worse than I already do," I state what I think all the time. "Challenge accepted." *************************************** {Extended synopsis inside} Highest Rank Spiritual #1 (12th-13th & 18th June 2016) COMPLETED Trigger warning- Contains violence/depressing thoughts/ suic dal ideation ******** Praise for Trust Me: Beautiful. Seven cousins, a blackmailer, a grudged teacher, a secret admirer, a desperate student, and a stalker is too much to handle. Not to mention a certain blue eyed boy with a twitchy eye and flattering tongue. That's not all! Why did the most annoying guy at school stop bothering her? Did he really have a change of heart? Or is there an ulterior motive behind it? Or it might be that her revenge schemes finally made him give up. What is her past, no one knows. She stopped asking questions years ago. Will the secret of her parent's death ever unravel? What does the box that was left for her when she was two contain? What will change her life? All it takes is just one twist! ~~~ I saw him leaning against his shiny silver car. When I walked by, he smiled and nodded. I looked behind me, but I saw no one else there. What just happened? I looked at him again and he did something else. He winked. I blushed like a girl and my heart fluttered. 'He's tricking you,' my mind scolded my heart. But I couldn't help thinking, 'maybe going to the party tonight won't be so bad after all.' A teen fiction with loads of humour, a tea spoon of mystery and a sprinkling of romance.

And as she stared at the items laid before her-a book, few pictures and a gold chain passed through her mother's ring-she found herself facing a dilemma. She wondered if she should mourn over what she had lost or if she should smile at how perfect her little family looked in those pictures. She was angry, enraged even, at how her life had turned out. Who would've thought that all these years she had been living a lie. All that she considered to be true had turned out to be false. Was that not enough of a reason for a person to lose all the trust they had in this world and its people? Or had she trusted the wrong entities all along? And had she trusted and believed with conviction in Him and only Him, the most Beneficent and the Most Merciful, maybe things would've turned out different than how they were now. At least, she wouldn't feel like her world had turned upside down, making her float in thin air with nothing there to act as a support for her. She wondered if she deserved all that life was throwing at her,. Couldn't it have been someone else in her place? Why did all this, had to happen to her? If only, for the sake of her sanity, someone had been there to tell her this, to reassure her; "...But they plan and Allah plans. And Allah is the best of planners." Rabbi shrahli sadri. wayassirli amri. wahlul uqdatam millisani. yafqahu qawli. [surah Taha] It is said by our prophet (PBUH) that "if a women prays her *five (daily prayers) *fasts her month (Ramadan) *guards her chastity and *obeys her husband, it will be said to her enter paradise by whichever of the gates of paradise you wish" 'Do you have a boyfriend?', 'Did your fiance confessed his love towards you?', 'Did he propose you? Aww that is so cute', really? How often do we ask those questions and how easy it is for us to answer them as a 'yes'. But do we even realise that it is not lawful in the eyes of our Creator? Do we even realise that we are violating the rules of being a Muslim because Muslim literally means 'the one who submits to the will of God'. The story stresses on the particular topics which the present youth is going through. A girls journey from haram to halal who was trapped in haram things and a lesson for those who attach their hearts before marrying.
