I try to forget that day. I really do. I thought my life would be fun and adventurous as a S.H.I.E.L.D field scientist. I even thought that I could, just maybe, make a difference in the world. Going on missions, investigating 0-8-4's, testing on new objects. But, I was most certainly wrong. Actually being out in the field makes me see the word 'breathtaking' in a whole different way. I wish I could go back to the days when it was just Jemma, Leo, and I in our little lab at the S.H.I.E.L.D Science and Technology University.
