Set in 1766, Missi, the daughter of the Grand duchess of Devonshire, longs for the freedom of travel. But she finds herself saddled with an unsavoury predicament. Trying to avoid the advances of men and her mother, Missi strikes a deal with a mysterious Duke, who seems to be the only man who understands her ideals in a time where she ought not to speak so freely. I do not own the main characters, Missi and Duke for they belong to their rightful creator Daria Cohen. I do however own some OCs, however some characters have some Historical connotations which may not be accurate as their real counterparts. I also do not own the photos used in the cover and they belong to their rightful owners. Ratings have changed on this story.

A/N: Sorry but it would be impossible for me to actually finish the story as I got busy with my life, job and cats and forgot what was supposed to happen next. I have a unfinished draft for the next chapter but i got lost and could not continue anymore. I might unpublish the story because it is a cliffhanger. I am really sorry again. This is a story after Missi resurrected Duke from the dead. A story of how Duke will win her heart and how they will face the upcoming danger of being together.
