The date is December 20, 2012, and it is barely 24 hours until the world is set to end for good. The planet, after the end of the world being confirmed by America, China and Britain's best scientists, and by governments across the globe, is in a state of emergency and as the last day of human life begins, everything is chaotic, yes, but miserable too. But in the midst of everything, as the clock counts down the remaining 26 hours, two strangers meet. Their names are Gerard Way, and Frank Iero.They meet on the sidewalk, where Gerard pities the young, homeless Frank and gives him money for blankets to survive the cold, and Frank refuses to accept it. The two men then, despite not knowing each other, decide to spend their final day together, for the sake of not spending it alone, for the sake of making a friend that they wouldn't have necessarily had before. But it turns about to be a lot more than that, as Gerard and Frank do things with each other that they've never done with another person before, living their lifetimes in their last day.
