Bullied. Hurt. That's what Christopher Maurice Brown did to me, Esscence Parker since high school. It lead me to cut and cry endlessly at night and end up in a car accident. Now, some of you know him as Chris Brown or Breezy. But, do you really know him? Has he ever made you feel worthless, insecure, ugly and, alone? He did to me but, not you right? Right. We were close friends but, what happened? Trust me, I don't know either. We used to joke around and laugh and hang out together. But, all he ever did was make jokes about me, laugh at me, and hang my happiness out the window. When he left for his fame is when I let out a sigh of relief. Everytime I saw him on TV or heard him on the radio, I couldn't help but cringe and get flashbacks of the past. I still have those nightmares from time to time. He left me, Esscence Skai Parker wondering. Do I love you?

My name is Mia Sawyers, the only daughter of the town's newly elected mayor, Richard Sawyers. My mom, Lucy, is a famous fashion designer in New York. But I've never seen her since I was 10 because she has to go and work there. Since then I became less attached to my dad all because of his job being the busy mayor of our town, Fortville. Eventually, I became spoiled and emotionless like an immature kid. All because of my mom. Her presence was all I needed, all I ever asked for, but she let me down. Back then, my mom was my best friend. She was my teacher, my mentor. But she left. Without a word, she left me alone. She came to New York so she can raise money and help me with my studies. But why can't she just work here instead? I needed her more than anything. Dad wasn't really himself lately since mom left. He focused his attention on politics and got crazy just to chase his precious votes. I got nothing left. Money is never enough to satisfy my needs. I needed love. Attention. And.. Fame.
