After a pandemic that had consumed most of the human populace, what is left is in complete chaos. And to some, that is pure euphoria.

Countless eons ago, the world as we know it split in two. Two dimensions were formed. Pandemonium was a land inhabited by humans. These humans made technology from the earth, and created astounding miracles with their machines. The other forgotten dimension, dubbed Discord by the humans, was inhabited by people who possessed magic. These gifted beings realized the inherit fault in the way of the humans, and sought refuge in a place beyond their reach. These people, masters of an art long forgotten, are the Majin.
