For Jade Cunningham, having connections to the established NHL Dallas Stars team is normal. When she gets an internship working as an assistant to Jim Nill, general manager of the Stars and her uncle, hanging with the team becomes routine. Living up to the expectations of being the boss' niece doesn't take long for Jade to get used to until the infamous, cocky star player, Tyler Seguin gets in the way. Jade and Tyler tend to always get stuck with each other, whether it's at morning practice or sitting next to each other on a five hour flight. But when they finally get used to each other, the thought of being apart makes them question what exactly has formed between them.
