Who would have thought a girl almost as innocent as Hadlee Parker could be dragged into the job, and stripped of all her memories, thoughts, and more importantly: emotions. However, being a Dread Doctor by night isn't always that terrible. Let me remind you: Hadlee Parker wasn't always pure, jubilant Hadlee Parker. After one is transformed from a human being into a Dread Doctor, they are given a new identity, even a new appearance during the day. And "Hadlee Parker's" abusive past has left her many scars (on the inside, and outside) to suffer with. So maybe sometimes it's just better to forget.
