Yes, there are many variations of this story out there. Some I enjoyed, some I did not but I wanted to make my own with my own types of tastes in music incorporated in to the story. Anyways I'm not very good at brief explanations without it suddenly turning in to a full blown summary, but yes this is about deku, heroes, heroes-in-training, and more discovering his music what will they find? A lot of secrets, so much is about to go down for the poor green haired hero to be.
