The truth is that many of the oldest tales in this universe are in fact warnings, warnings from those who are already lost. When the line between myth and reality is so thin and wavering, there are those who fall through it, those who become legends. And the young adult would never expect to find a lion alpha that had the ability to irk her and make her stomach fill with butterflies at the same time. No one ever said what would happen when dragons and aliens meet. And no one told me that I would be in the middle of it. I turned around to regard the tray again. They say practice makes perfect. With another hop and a single wingbeat, I managed to land in the sand tray with fanned wings slowing my momentum.
