Thanks to @CatScratch57 for the awesome cover! Moons before Brownstar's and Froststar's reign, the wise Nightstar lead ThunderClan through many challenges. As a kit, Nightkit was unlike most kits. He does not play like the other kits or act like one. Instead, he would observe how the Clan deputy organise the patrols. He yeaned to be ThunderClan's leader one day. Darkthorn, Nightkit's father, was afraid that Nightkit would follow in his pawsteps, and therefore made him promise that he wouldn't break the warrior code for his own ambitions before his death. However, as Nightkit became Nightpaw, he found it harder to fulfill his promise to Darkthorn. How can he wait so many moons to get more power in ThunderClan? Will Nightpaw keep his promise to his deceased father?

I didn't think what I did was wrong. I didn't think what I did would be consequential, and I never thought that I would be persecuted because of it. I just wanted a normal life, and to be with the one I loved, but is that to much to ask? It is apparently so, in the world we live in. It is strange, how even the most brilliant cats, can be the most ignorant.
