Adla, a young policewoman, forms an uncommon bond with the journalist Leah. Both being guided by their own beliefs and convictions, they find themselves on different sides more often than not. Yet their connection surpasses the conventional ideas of what should keep them apart. Dealing with love, family, friendship, identity, culture and even politics, the two young women attempt to defy the odds in pursuit of true happiness.

This is a spinoff series of "Assisting Miss Adams" (GirlxGirl): After moving away from Baldwin the summer after graduation, Sam and Megan embark on a brand new journey with new challenges around every corner. While Sam learns how to successfully manage "Jinx 2", Megan continues to pursue a higher education at Mizzou University. This series of shorts take place an entire year after moving to Columbia.
