Aerith always believed she was an ordinary mortal-clumsy, geeky, and completely out of place in the world. But on the eve of her 18th birthday, she discovers a shocking truth: she's no ordinary girl, but the long-lost daughter of the Fates, destined to rule the Underworld as Hades' queen. Thrown into the realm of gods and monsters, Aerith must learn to navigate her new life among immortal beings, where loyalty and power shift like the winds. Tutored by gods, pursued by ancient rivalries, and bound to Hades-a brooding, powerful god who's been waiting for her for centuries-Aerith faces the daunting challenge of learning how to rule an entire realm while still figuring out how to be herself. Can she rise to the challenge of ruling alongside the enigmatic Hades, or will the forces that oppose her destiny tear their fated union apart? With humor, heart, and a touch of magic, Aerith must learn the ropes of royalty and love in a world where even the gods themselves play by their own rules. How to be a Queen is a fun and fresh take on Greek mythology, blending romance, adventure, and self-discovery into an unforgettable journey through the immortal world.

"I wonder who's on that bus," she said, obviously referring to the huge double decker bus infront of us. I shrugged my shoulders and put the ciggarette out in the ashtray compartment under the car radio. I pulled my over-the-shoulder bag over my shoulder and took my car keys from the ignition of the car. I stepped out of the car and Ava followed suit. I locked the car up and began walking toward the coffee shop, walking around the back of the bus. "Asking Alexandria..." Ava spoke aloud. "What?" I asked, looking over to her as we walked. "That's what the bumper sticker said..." she replied with a shrug. I contorted my face to a confused expression and shrugged it off. We walked into the coffee shop and noticed the baristas all looked like they'd seen a ghost, or atleast someone famous. Ava and I walked up to the counter and I ordered a mocha decaf and a hazelnut muffin and she ordered a straight black coffee. "That'll be $16.78, please." the peppy, blonde cashier recited as she smiled at us, her bright blue eyes sparkling. I grimaced slightly at how happy she was so early in the morning and reached in my backpocket for my wallet. "There's no need for that, pretty lady..." a male's British accented voice said. "Thanks but I have my own mo-" I turned around, ready to tell the guy off but my mouth dropped.
