Marlow Ryan is 23, a secretary and sensible. But when her car breaks down on the side of the motorway at night, she does the opposite of sensible, and walks miles to find help. A muddy path and countless puddles lead her to an old pub, where she meets Jax Ferro. When she remembers that Jax Ferro was the guy she crushed on during secondary school, she tries to escape. However, he offers help, and drives her to her brother's apartment. After a lot of convincing, Jax Ferro starts to train Marlow for her upcoming trip to Hawaii and marathon that she aims to run in the summer. With secrets being shook, and feelings being developed, and a lot of sexual tension during their sessions at the gym, Marlow finds herself going insane.
