Does love truly conquer all? At first glance, two people might seem like the perfect match, compatible in every way, sharing love, laughter, and passion. But what happens when love isn't enough? When differences in background, values, and expectations create cracks in what should have been a seamless union? Can love bridge the gaps that logic says are too wide to cross? Ayyaanah: Love After Marriage takes you on an emotional journey through the life of Ayyaanah, a young Fulani woman torn between tradition and a quiet yearning for something more. Raised with strong cultural values and a deep sense of duty, she has always been expected to follow the path set before her. But when fate binds her to a man she barely knows, her world shifts in ways she never imagined. Bilal Muhammad is everything she is not, bold, ambitious, and carrying the weight of unspoken struggles. Beneath his charm lies a man battling his own demons, questions of identity, ambition, and the invisible scars of past wounds. Forced into a marriage he never asked for, love is the last thing on his mind. But Ayyaanah: Love After Marriage is more than a love story. It is a tale of self-discovery, resilience, and the quiet strength it takes to fight for happiness. Through Ayyaanah and Bilal's journey, you will experience the beauty of Northern Nigerian culture, the silent struggles of modern relationships, and the timeless question of whether two strangers can truly become soulmates. She's a wild, free spirit who sees the good in everyone, and he's the hardened, bad-tempered loner who wants nothing to do with her-yet no matter how hard he tries to push her away, she's the one temptation he can't escape. *** He's never met someone with such a bubbly personality. Not to mention the wildness and odd phrases she says every five minutes. He hates it. He hates how he can't stay away from it. He hates what she does to him; it's not like him to chase after some girl. She gets under his skin like no other. She's never met someone with such a bad attitude. He's ill-mannered and menacing. The glare never seems to leave his face. Considering it all, she can't help but feel the attraction toward him. Dangerous attraction toward a seemingly dangerous man. Maybe it's the tattoos on his arm that gets her attention. Or maybe it's because she can tell there's hope for good under his rough exterior. And she's about to find it, whether he likes it or not. It's no secret that the two of them are complete and total opposites. *** "You like being called Sugar, don't you?" I tease, placing my toothbrush back after finishing. He does the same and gives me a side-eyed scowl. He grips my chin harshly and kisses me. My body temperature raises a good ten degrees and my right leg goes all wiggly. He pulls away. "You like it when I kiss you, don't you?" He teases the same way I did to him and I'm left blubbering. "I think both of our questions are rhetorical," I lower my voice up at him. His lip curls up into a smirk. *** #1 in Young Adult #9 in Badboy #1 in Cold #3 in Goodgirl #1 in Sweetheart #14 in Love *** *Warning* This story contains mature themes (language, scenes)

"You are still talking and breathing which means You're not dead, Yet." he winked. He freaking winked. Is he for real? "You are sick. You are a PSYCHOPATH. You need serious HELP!" I spit. When I was about to go out the door, I turned and glared at Lucifer who was looking at me in amusement. " just so you know, I will get back at you for this" With that, I ran upstairs. Sa'adatu likes sticking to her routine, finding comfort in the usual. Change isn't her thing; she's happy with the way things are. But suddenly, a surprising shift comes knocking-a tough task that seems impossible to win. In this whimsical tale, Adnan Bayero shows up as a spark of hope, but Sa'adatu is unsure. After living in an illusion for too long, the reality she sees now is not what she imagined. Life, akin to the heart's capricious dance, unfolds with surprises. COMPLETED. A tear slides down my cheek and my assaulter stands upright again, sending me a smirk as he wipes the tear away. His canines are splattered with scarlet blood -my blood- and when I touch the place he bit me with my finger, it comes back covered in red. "I'll see you soon, Cami. You'll see, things will only be more exciting from here." He turns his back to me to walk away but suddenly stops, turning his head back to me. "Has your sister mentioned me at all?" My mouth falls open and no sound comes out so he just shakes his head with a laugh. "Ah... she likes to keep me a secret. Until the next, Camilla..." And with that, he is gone right before my eyes. It's as if the bubble pops because when I close my eyes and open them again, the halls are completely empty and I'm panting against the wall. I bring my hand to the bite on my neck. Nothing. It comes back clean. A terrified sigh escapes my lips and I slide down the wall, staring into emptiness. °°°° Copyright All Rights Reserved@2016 Sophia Kjeldbjerg
