Sequel to Discovering Love! Dan is only just now aware of the fact that he loves Phil Lester, but at the wrong moment, because Phil hates him. He makes that very clear, in the way he successfully ignores Dan. But Dan is desperate, because the longer he and Phil are separated, the more his heart is breaking, and pretty soon he won't be able to deal with it. Dan is a firm believer that love doesn't exist. Not in adults, and definitely not in high school. He detests silly love stories and petty relationships, posing as 'love', and nothing could possibly change his mind in that. But when new student Phil takes an intrest in Dan, he can't deny that he's interested in the boy. His bubbly personality and hopeless romantic ways draw Dan in.....and might just change his mind in the thoughts of love.

Dan is known for being a fuckboy at his school. Accepting dates from whoever offered. Most of the time girls but very rarely he would get the closeted guy who asks him so he can figure himself out. Dan gets made fun of when that occurs but sometimes he prefers the guys more. He gets asked out on a daily basis. Only going out for them for a couple of days which usually results in a ton of making out and most of the time a one night stand. Dan has never truly been in a relationship. His longest was probably around 6 days but other then that he's never been in a long term relationship because he feels that being with one person for the rest of your life is pointless and over rated considering he gets bored with whoever he's with. He never expected that those feelings would change his life choices when he runs into a animal loving, anime nerd who smiles at everything and makes him feel something he's never felt towards someone before...
