Bruce opened his eyes and after a moment of blurry images he saw blood all over the floor. Panic set in as his mind raced to figure out where it came from. He turned in circles but stopped suddenly when he saw a limp figure on a bloody pile near a corner, looking like they were half alive. After a second, he came to the horrifying realization that it wasn't just someone but his sidekick. "Oscar!" Bruce yelled as he hurried over to him. "Oscar what happened?" He reaches for the boy but to his surprise the boy jerked away from him viciously and tried pathetically to crawl away. "Don't touch me." Oscar rasped out. Bruce reached for him again, not wanting the boy to just die from being stubborn. When he flipped Oscar over despite useless and weak retaliation Bruce physically leaned back. The boy's face was all but a mush of blood, bruises, and swelling. He couldn't even see his eyes from how swelled he was. To his surprise Oscar threw a punch and it landed on Bruce's cheek bone. It stung but wasn't strong enough to be anything but a distraction. When he looked back Oscar was crawling away, his legs looking like they were heavily twisted or even broken. Then, as Bruce looked down he saw blood covering his fists. It didn't take long to piece together. The two were alone. Bruce did this to him.
