I had frozen time...forever. I never wanted for any of this to happen. But when your life consists of fake smiles and scars, there isn't much you can do about it. When I found an old letter from my Granny with the stopwatch pendant attached to it, I was curious. The watch claimed to be able to freeze time, so, perhaps, I could mend our broken family. Sure, I'm not a complete fool. I knew playing with time was dangerous. Back then, it felt more dangerous to sit with all the pain cooped up inside of me. I couldn't help it. I fiddled with time...but then things got out of hand. And now there's no going back.

Cassandra has just been in a life-threatening accident, paralyzing her legs and placing her into a wheelchair for eternity.
