None of these stories are linked to each other; they are their own separate storylines, and are written in different time periods in the show- e.g. season 2, season 10, etc.. P.S. I started writing these stories in like 2022, and it's remarkable how much my writing style differs from each chapter. Also I tend to go back and reread my chapters after I publish them, so if you come back one day and one of the chapters is completely different then that's why 😅 Also, if you can't handle the cringe and inaccuracies in some chapters then I'd suggest skipping some earlier chapters instead of dropping the whole book! Ben's injuries are too severe for him to be at the Institute, they needed a warlock's magic. Basically, what would happen if Alec had a twin brother named Ben. ------ A/N: The story begins with Jace's thoughts when he goes through he portal with Valentine at the end of 1x13. In this story, all events of Season 1 of Shadowhunters have happened, but it won't really go along with Season 2 as I started writing this before it, and most of the trailers for it, came out.
