Whitney Alia Baybridge is only 15 years old. She gets bullied endlessly at school. Kids pick on her for everything she does. She cuts herself everyday. She hardly eats, all because of those bullies. Her parents become confused as to why she won't eat. When they find out that she's cutting herself, they're completely disgusted. Whitney's parents send her ti an orphanage because they want nothing to do with her. Meanwhile, while Demi Lovato is on tour, she gets lonely and decides ti get a sister/daughter. Demi Lovato just finished her world tour. She feels the need to take a break from her career for a while. She's not planning on retiring completely, but she can't maintain her singing career at full speed and accomplish a task that she has always wanted to try. Foster care. A month after becoming a certified foster parent, Demi gets a call from a social worker. A foster mom had just retired, and she wants nothing to do with the care system anymore. Four girls, ages 5-9, are now in need of Demi's care. It's hard at first to keep up with four little girls all at once, but Demi eventually gets the hang of things. After a lot of ups and downs, Demi finds herself not ever wanting to let these girls go. Can she become a real mother to all four girls? Or will her house be just another temporary home?

Demi and Wilmer are both on a break off of work and are on vacation with their beautiful daughter, Rose. 15 year old Emma lost both of her parents and three sisters and is now left in charge of her remaining brother and sister. What happens when they cross paths? Will they be able to help each other?
