Dan and Phil are children together, best friends from the offset. Even as they drift apart Phil's little lights stay with Dan and he carries the theory with him through into old age.

Dan and Phil's friendship has ended. They moved out from their flat and went their separate ways. Phil has tried to keep in touch with Dan, but he never answers. All of his emails are unanswered, but that doesn't mean Dan never reads them.

Phil doesn't talks. Well, not anymore. The last time he said something, was when he didn't hate himself. And that was a long time ago. But now, everything is different. He says and I look over at the girl. She blushes lightly as I approach her, leaning against her ear. "Be careful of who you make friends with. Most people around here have a rather unpleasant side to them" I whisper and I could feel her shiver slightly at my voice which made me only chuckle "ah well see you all later!" I wave my hand slightly as I walk away with my back pack, honestly that girl is gonna have trouble if she doesn't have anyone protecting her.
