Team Rocket was also there to try to steal Pokemon, capture Pikachu, and kidnap Ellie as usual. Now, Ash, Ellie, and their friends will travel the entire Kalos region to find new Pokemon, make new friends and enemies, learn about mega evolution, and train harder to compete in the Kalos League. They will also stop an evil organization called Team Flare, who are aiming to create a "beautiful" world by destroying the existing one, believing it to be corrupted and overpopulated.

Now, Ellie and her friends will travel the entire Sinnoh region to find new Pokemon, make new friends and enemies, and train harder to compete in the Sinnoh league. They will also stop a criminal organization called Team Galactic, who were planning to rebuild the galaxy in their image by stealing two legendaries, Dialga and Palkia.
