Ryan hates humans. He loves being able to take their blood and beat them but he doesn't like them. He probably has over twenty maids a month because he kills them. He doesn't believe in love even though his parents continue to try to get him to date. Maribeth didn't know what she was in for. Maribeth doesn't believe in vampires util she was taken by one. She heard about the auctions but she didn't believe that they were real. Ryan's parents forbid him to kill his next maid. If he kills her then he won't have another one until Two months.
