So she moved, from the small neighborhood in Long Island, to the big city of Manhattan. She bumps into Davey, an old friend, and becomes a newsie. Upon meeting the charismatic skirt-chasing Jack Kelly, she begins to fall for him. Is it possible that the life of an orphan can really beat the life she once had? Just maybe.
