Something in the Shadows is a psychological thriller filled with gore. After ten years of peace, the past returns to haunt the rustic town of Wolfpine borrowing the identity of a dead serial killer known for his characteristic style of killing. While the rest of the town debates on a probable fulfillment of the last words of the killer, Detectives of the Homicide Bureau of Wolfpine, Solomon Grady and Brad Turner try to find answers to the identity of a web knitted together around a singular person from numerous directions - the singularity being depicted by the mysterious narrator, Alec Wolfe.

The book exclusively contain poems written by various poets around the world for those that carry the heavy burden of rejection with them, the broken hearted and the insane lovers around the world who held onto what they believed was love but didn't get the opportunity to nurture it. Those that crave for companionship and yet fear the loneliness at the end of it. The pain in love isn't love itself but the unrequited plans made for the future. The book is dedicated to those that wear the scars they earned in love with pride while at the same time find no means to fill the void created by the losses in their lives. This book is also a pivotal campaign to raise the status of poets and to reintroduce poetry to the readers around the world. To contribute, you can send in your poem and use the hashtag #SavePoemswithAdhish while sharing your work on the social media to catch the author's attention. For more details read the section relating to how the process works. Happy writing.

This book contains a collection of twenty poems dealing with the essence of life. My poems in this book depict the lessons life demonstrates in front of our eyes but which we either fail to perceive or choose to ignore. Jacky Robinson rightly said- "A life is not important except in the impact it has on other lives". I only wish to touch the lives of people with my poems and help them realize the worth of life and lives.
