Pesky Death Eaters and Horcrux hunting changed Hermione's plans for her 7th year dramatically, but after the defeat of the Dark Lord and the take down of most of his followers, Hermione and her friends decide to play out their 7th year as it should have been, and to have a year free of drama. This is also the same plan of one of their enemies, Draco Malfoy. His life hadn't been a bunch of laughs either during the war, and after he and his mother were set free, with Harry Potter's plea they were somewhat innocent, Draco wanted a chance to try one more year of school, also Drama free. So what happens when the two find out they are the school's new Head Prefects? Hermione can see something different about her former enemy - he's completely changed. Is it just an act? Or has Draco Malfoy, Hogwarts badass actually changed? Will they get along now he seems different? Or will they be throwing hexes at each other every night in their common room? Only time will tell. I DO NOT OWN THESE CHARACTERS: J.K.Rowling owns them, this is purely a fanfiction written by a huge HP fan =D

She knows he is tortured by painful memories from his past but he is determined to keep that hidden. Follow Hermione and Draco as they try to endure the most terrifying thing of all - love. ----- "You could have died." My breathing quickens as I stare into his silver grey, stormy eyes. "But I didn't." I shrug nonchalantly. He shakes his head, angry and frustrated. "You don't understand. What you put me through..." My heart beats faster as he leans forwards, eyebrows drawn and face intense. "It was the worst I've ever felt - when someone you care about is hurting so, so much." ---- NOTE: I started this over a year ago and am in the process of editing this story. Please excuse any grammar errors or a bad plotline for the first few chapters :3

Hermione walked through a narrow street before she finally arrived right where she wanted to be. Hermione carefully made her way through the crowd until she was standing right under the balcony of Juliet. Hermione smiled to herself and took in a deep breath. She made it. She had been traveling the past three months through Europe. First Spain, where she had stayed for a month, then France and now Italy. In every place she had stayed she had worked to earn some more money to get to her next destination and up until now everything worked out pretty good. She knew running away had been a good choice, even though it broke her heart to leave everyone and everything behind, especially Draco. As she looked up at the balcony of Juliet, right there in the city of Verona, she felt an urge to call Draco, the person she would've loved to have with her right there and then. But she knew she couldn't. She needed to keep her distance and she obviously knew calling wouldn't get her very far, as for the fact Draco didn't have a mobile nor did he probably ever see one. And who says he wanted to even see her? Or hear from her? It wouldn't surprise her if he never wanted to see or hear her again. The sequel to Love Doesn't Lie (Dramione Love Story). What happened after Hermione left? And where did she go to? Will she ever come back? Will she ever be reunited with Draco, the love of her life, or did she find someone else? And what happened to Ginny, Harry, Ron and the others? And what about the True Love bond Draco and Hermione share? Draco's father, Lucius Malfoy, had been send to Azkaban for all the things he had done and both Narcissa and Draco were lucky enough not to go with him, they got a second chance, under strict rules, from the Ministry for Magic. Workers of the Ministry for Magic had been send out to find Hermione's parents and when they had found them in Australia, they had brought them to the Ministry where they undid Hermione's memory-erase spell on them. Hermione Granger has brains, as everyone knows, so it's not very odd that she would be tutoring a few Hogwarts students who perhaps lack in their studies. But what happens when the student she is tutoring is no other than Draco Malfoy? Why is Dumbledore so keen on Hermione tutoring Draco even though it's against his will? And why is Draco feeling a little warmer towards Hermione despite his usual cocky, arrogant, and sarcastic comments? Well, all the answers are in this story of course!
